COFL Expert Analysis
All eyes will be on Monday Night Football tonight. No, not the Cardinals vs Cowboys on ESPN. All eyes will be on the COFL Monday Night game between Kansas City (12-0) and Denver (12-2) with arguably two of the best COFL coaches going head to head in an AFC West showdown. Some are calling it Game of the Century II, a rematch of the 17-16 thriller in which the Chiefs prevailed at Arrowhead.
The road to 16-0 is going through the two time defending champion, Coach Miller. If you think he isn't ready for this game then you are out of your mind. Nobody, and I mean nobody, wants to knock off the undefeated Chiefs and prevent them from going 16-0 than Coach Miller. He was quoted on Saturday night saying "We're ready, we've been ready. We've had this game circled on our calendar since the last time we met. Them being undefeated just adds to our motivation, if we needed anymore. " The Broncos are ready for a fight and they are going to bring the fight to the Chiefs.
Coach Ayler has a new nickname, The Cardiac Kid and the Chiefs have taken that nickname to heart. They had two come from behind wins last week, everyone thought they were toast but out of nowhere they found a way to win. That's what Coach Ayler and The Chiefs have always done, they've found ways to win. 6 of their 12 wins this season are by a touchdown or less.
Paxton Lynch said in an interview this morning that he has modeled his game after Alex Smith. If you look at the stats for each quarterback you will see the similarities. They are one of the few quarterbacks with more touchdowns than interceptions this season. They believe in the philosophy of low risk, high reward. Both QB's are around 70% completion percentage and only throw and each quarterback has ran over 30 times for over a 100 yards this season.
If you want our COFL Expert opinion then we are going to give it to you. We think the Broncos win tonight and they win in a route. There will be too many Chiefs turnovers and the Broncos aren't the Jets or the Bills. Once they get a lead on you they put you away and that's what Coach Miller and the Broncos will do tonight.
