COFL Expert Analysis

A match up for the ages here folks, both of these coaches are a combined 106-38 and met in COFL Bowl II with Coach Robinson (DRob) earning his 1st COFL Bowl Title with Houston defeating Carolina. Not only did these two coaches meet in COFL Bowl II but they met in the NFC Championship game in Season III when Carolina defeated Minnesota in Minnesota. Needless to say, these two coaches have somewhat of a history.

The Green Bay Packers come into tonight's game at 2-2, an unstable 2-2 to say the least. This isn't 2017's Coach Robinson, some are saying he's lost what he once had while others are saying wait until week 3 or 4 to see if he's actually lost his groove. Regardless of what people are saying about him, it all comes down to Aaron Rodgers. He is having his worst season ever right now with only 5 touchdown passes and 16 interceptions. He's on pace for 64 interceptions right now. You can't win with those numbers, it's literally impossible.

They Packers need to either turn to another style of play, meaning run the ball 75% of the time and depend on your defense to slow the game down for you. Or they must figure out how to actually throw the ball and stop throwing to the other team. Either way you look at it, they are a team on the brink of going two ways....1.) A team in turmoil that ends up going 8-8 and not making the playoffs 2.) A team that rises to the occasion and finished 11-5, wins the division and makes the playoffs.

On the other side of the field we have Coach Konzy and the Minnesota Vikings (1-1). Many, COFL Experts included, are calling them the team to beat in the NFC North. One thing Coach Konzy does is win, especially in the regular season. Come playoff time he gets as close as many get but that ever elusive COFL Bowl Title just keeps avoiding him season after season.

The Vikings have only played two games this season so it's hard to get a good read on them or even give you a valid scouting report other than expect their linebackers to own the middle of the field. Coach Konzy makes sure to put a stamp on the middle of the field, not allowing anyone to get by on them with slants, crosses or shallow stops in the center.

Spread: Vikings -3.5

Over/Under: 43

Players to Watch

Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers)

It has to be him and he has to improve those TD/INT numbers, it's the only way they can win this game, let alone have a successful season.

Latavious Murray/Dalvin Cook (Minnesota Vikings)

The deadliest two back combo in the COFL? Maybe, just maybe. Expect it to be showcased tonight.
